Looking after your new turf

Keep the new turf and soil beneath it adequately moist while roots establish, adjusting watering to the weather and ground conditions. A light wetting of the grass surface is not enough if the root zone remains dry.

Avoid heavy use until the turf has rooted. Begin mowing with a high blade setting once it is established sufficiently, following the handover advice. Do not choose the first mowing date solely by counting days.
