GARDEN PROJECT · CANTERBURY, KENT
A garden combining grey porcelain paving, artificial grass and a custom-made steel-frame pergola with a polycarbonate roof.

THE PROJECT
For this Canterbury garden we installed a porcelain patio, artificial grass and a custom-made steel-frame pergola with a polycarbonate roof. The paving runs around the grass and along the side of the garden, linking the foreground patio with the area beside the house.
The rectangular lawn gives the garden a simple central shape. Grey paving and the dark steel frame complement each other, while pots and white decorative gravel add detail along the fence. The pergola sits directly outside the rear doors, defining a covered area at the house end of the garden.
Large grey porcelain slabs form the patio and side path. Their layout gives a clear route from one end of the garden to the other.
Artificial grass fills the central lawn area, bordered by paving and the decorative gravel beside the fence.
The made-to-measure steel frame stands beside the house. Its dark finish provides a clear outline above the garden area outside the rear doors.
A polycarbonate roof completes the pergola, adding overhead cover to the space beside the house.
