Brick piers and low walls
Brick piers divide the boundary into sections, with low brick walls connecting them beneath the railing panels.
GARDEN PROJECT · CHISLEHURST, KENT
A boundary project combining brick piers and low brick walls with stone coping, matching pier caps and black railing panels.

THE PROJECT
For this Chislehurst project we fitted brick piers with stone pier caps, stone coping along the low brick wall and railing panels between the piers. The boundary follows the edge of the property, with regularly spaced piers giving the long run a clear rhythm.
The pale stone finishes contrast with the red and brown brickwork. Black railing panels sit above the wall, with decorative rings and pointed finials adding detail while keeping views through the boundary. Together, the brick base, capped piers and railings create a consistent finish along the frontage.
Brick piers divide the boundary into sections, with low brick walls connecting them beneath the railing panels.
Pale stone coping finishes the top of each low wall section and provides a continuous line beneath the railings.
Matching stone caps complete the brick piers, repeating the pale finish along the boundary.
Black decorative railing panels fill the spaces between the piers, with ring details and pointed finials visible along the top.
